Medical Equipment Planning
This client came to The Innova Group to expedite the re-opening and re-commissioning of Rocky Mountain Medical Center and the attached medical office building. The existing hospital had been closed for several years and the license had lapsed. The client’s goals after acquisition, were to have the hospital renovated, equipped, re-licensed, supplied and ready to take patients in six (6) months.
The Innova Group was hired as the program manager/ owner’s representative to manage the complete design, construction, procurement, and transition planning contracts. In addition, The Innova Group managed the licensure application and re-commissioning process with the state. This fast track process of design and construction allowed the hospital to be open in six (6) months.
Under program management services for Rocky Mountain Medical Center, Innova provided:
- Management of Architecture and Engineering Services
- Management of Construction Contract
- Management and Oversight of Equipment Selection and Procurement
- Management and Oversight of Owner’s Responsibilities including: IT, Telecommunications, Security, Transition Planning, and City Planning and Permitting Communications
