  • Senior Data Analyst/Healthcare Consultant

    The Innova Group is searching for a qualified Sr. Data Analyst/Healthcare Consultant to join our team and support all aspects of project research, analysis, and deliverable development. The successful candidate will be acquiring, normalizing, querying and analyzing data from various sectors in support of projects that meet our clients’ needs: market projections, workload studies and required resource assessments.     Job Description

    • Acquire, normalize, analyze and maintain multi-sector data (patient/facility/physician), medical, demographic, and other data
    • Display data, analysis and findings to support project requirements
    • Support other healthcare planning tasks as assigned
    • Demonstrate growing expertise utilizing healthcare planning metrics and emerging trends to define operational requirements (space and staff)
    • Develop analytic team with best practice tools and processes
    • Manage and maintain Windows Server and SQL server (Setup/configure/maintain/backup/users)

    Qualifications Required

    • Bachelor’s degree in one of the following programs: Healthcare, Business, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Architecture, Industrial Engineering, GIS or other data/analysis intensive major
    • 5-10 years of experience in Healthcare Planning or other setting developing meaningful analysis from large data sets
    • Broad knowledge of healthcare services, delivery models, data sets, related codes, and facility, finance and/or operation related planning metrics
    • Ability to create/communicate relevant solutions to complex problems through sophisticated analysis

    Technical Skills Required

    • Healthcare Data Analysis experience (Decision Support/Finance/etc.)
    • SQL: Intermediate to advanced proficiency (import data, indices, query/table development, CTE, etc.)
    • Data Management experience
    • Graphics Capability – able to portray data/analysis in a visually pleasing manner
    • MS Office: Outlook, Word, Power Point, and Excel (intermediate proficiency – Pivot tables, complex “if” statements, conditional formatting)
    • Problem seeker/problem solving skills, good communicator and team player
